Text on Images

Post by RobertWA »

Hi all,

When putting text onto an image is it possible to use a font size greater than 72 (I'm using Arial font)?

And, once the text is on the image, how can you move it or edit it?

Thanks

You can set the size to anything, just type the number into the field manually instead of choosing it from the dropdown.

When using the "add text" function, you can't change the text after it's been applied. All you can do is undo the whole thing & do it over.
However, if you instead use the paint tool (filters->paint) to apply text, you can freely move it & edit it after applying it to the image (as long as you're still in the paint tool. Once you close the paint popup then anything you've done will be applied to the image & can't be changed).
