Hello,
After some time of using XnViewMP on Linux, I'm back on Windows. There I've installed both XnView and XnViewMP. Due to some features, I love XnViewMP more (wonderful program!), but I have some issues with the video playback of .mov-files. In XnView the files are being played perfectly (although the preview in thumbnails-view doesn't work), but in XnViewMP I don't get video playback or preview to work (altough preview in thumbnails-view is available here).
The preview pane of the video is completely empty (no options) and when trying to open a dialog pops up ("The picture will be converted to RGB with 8bits per component.") but nothin happens.
Windows 8.1 (just installed lately).
XnViewMP Version 0.72 x64 (Dec 19 2014)
Best Regards,
Ben

Re: Problems of Playback of .mov-files
Switched to Win10 - problem resists.
But then I installed K-Lite Codec pack, now XnViewMP plays the video.
Even tough I cannot move video files any more (same like http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=31620 - I will reply there).
