Folders are not displayed in the browser

folders are not shown when you set filter by=>images

And I have set in "settings=>Browser=>file list=>custom filters" "show as thumbnails"

In Xnview this works different, I mean when you filter by images in the browser the folders are shown anyway. Is this change of behaviour on purpose or it's a bug?

what is the best? Always show folders??

I would like "always show folders", I find the folders thumbnails in the browser very useful to see a preview of what is inside, it really helps when you have many subfolders.
