Similar to the issue Improve wording of buttons "cancel" and "Abort"
Currently, all the user sees after a successful import, is the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons. What it needs is a confirmation dialogue saying how many files were imported and to where:
1. Open import and sort tool
2. set source, destination, others
3. hit OK
4. after finished, progress shows confirmation message (950 files imported to /foo/foo)
5. hit a "Done" button to close
6. hit Close button to quit the tool
a confirmation would be very helpful so that user knows the transfer has been successful. He might go for a coffee and come back and doesn't know it has worked unless looking at the destination folder.
ALSO, when source selected that does NOT exist...
result: progress dialogue gets stuck and shows "24% 10mb of 100mb completed, 2/5 files, 15sec remaining..." every time!
So in that case, an error message is needed, "Source does not exist".

Re: Import-sort tool no confirm message!
I agree, it would be much better user experience to have a completion message that also closes the dialogue. The current experience is ambiguous.
Also, it would be nice to have the option of deleting imported photos.
Thanks,
