A general observation

Post by jadO »

I hope I am wrong but I am noticing a downwards spiral with this great software. From what I feel it is getting worse with every new release. Old bugs remain, new bugs get added.
But what is even worse now, even most basic operations do not work reliably anymore. I have opened several tickets regarding files that cannot be moved or deleted, duplicated categories or folders that do not disappear after move.

I am fully aware that this is a beta. But it seems that it has been a beta for years now and I doubt there will be a 1.0 ever. While it is in fact a great application if it cannot perform the most basic operations in a reliable way then it is doomed.

My suggestion ist to immediately stop adding new features and get back to the very basics and make them work.

Donating for a beta?

I am spending time with this application as tester and try to write down thoughtful bug and feature requests or general observations to improve this software. That´s it and there is no need trying to devaluate that.

I'm very happy with the new 0.75. It has fixed most of my 'setbacks'.

Thanks for all the hard work.
