I can't open files with special symbols or hieroglyph in file name. For example xnveiw does not open files with such symbols in a file name as ▲, ほ, ~. It leads to an error: Error opening the file <F:\^.jpg> (symbol - ▲) <F:\~.jpg> (symbol - ~) <F:\?.jpg> (symbol - ほ)
OS: windows 7

You can use XnViewMP which is still in beta (or XnConvert for batch processing) if it supports the functions you need.
Re: Problem with opening of some file
Then it is clear. I thought it there was a bug.XnView 'Classic' doesn't support Unicode...
Re: Problem with opening of some file
"Doesn't suport Unicode natively" doesn't mean "can't get access to file's content in principle".
Hmm, ker Joined: Sun May 05, 2013 4:12 am, first post Sun Oct 04, 2015 12:36 pm. XnView is good software if you have encountered first issue only 2,5 years after joining forum, right?

Yes, but sometimes it is slightly inconvenient."Doesn't suport Unicode natively" doesn't mean "can't get access to file's content in principle".
I do not argue with this. With xnveiw of another it is not necessary.XnView is good software if you have encountered first issue only 2,5 years after joining forum, right?
