Database schema of catalog

Hello,

I am thinking of using XnViewMP as my picture catalog. I can assign categories to pictures but it is not possible to export the categories with the pictures.

i.e.

Some root folder\
  Catergory1
    Pic1
    Pic2
  Category2
    Pic3
    ...

When I look into xnview.db with sqllite browser I see some tables "albums" with no real content and the Image Table does contain all the interesting information in an META Column.
It would be of some help if external tools could access the information of xnview.db an implement a custom export feature.

Or is there an AdOnn/Plugin mechanism where one can add functionalty to XnViewMP?
