Linux mint not communicating with XnView MP
I have just installed XNview onto LM problem is that it is seeing the linux files but not viewing the other hard drives or partitions where I have images. And no folder detail from any DVD I put into the drive. Any ideas?

Re: Linux mint not communicating with XNview
Not on Xnview. I can see them on my folders and Gpartition and I mount the drives. But XNview does not see them, therefore I cannot access them to get to the images on there. Any suggestions gratefully recievedxnview wrote:you can see your partition in folder view?

Re: Linux mint not communicating with XNview
I really am struggling here. I want to use Linux more as I do much work on it. But photography stinks. I have tried Picasa and XNview and both are not seeing my NTFS drives! All I see are the allocated Linux systems. I have tried dragging and anything that permits me to try and get the programs to access the images.
Thanks hope someone has an answer

Have you tried a Google search, truely one of the wonders of the modern world, or the Linux Mint forum?lightmuncher wrote:I really am struggling here. I'm not a Linux user yet, but this was the solution to one user's missing partition problem, if it's of any relevance, I don't know. There are no doubt other possible insights available online...
