Hi, I am new to XnviewMP and very glad that this forum exists. I started to use the program on a Windows PC, my usual desk computer, and on a mac mini, that is the base of our living room media environment. I like it on both devices. There seems to be a difference between the Windows and OSX version in the functionality of the filtering by ratings. In the Windows version you can select an operator (=, >, <, and more), that I started to use to find all pictures with a better rating than, lets say, "average". In the OSX version this function seems to be lacking. Should I now go to change all ratings to just one category, selectable on both systems, or should I wait to an improved version on the mac. Is that a big thing to change?

Re: filtering by rating with operators on a mac
Hi XnTric, thank you for your answer. I was out of town for almost two weeks, sorry for the delayed response.
I used version 0.76 on the mac and I changed just now to 0.78. In both versions, when I click on the small filter symbol and thus open the corresponding window for the selection of a rating category, there is no row containing the <, =, > symbols available in the Windows versions. Could you verify that?

Hi again, Rolf.
Unfortunately I don't have access to a computer running Mac OS.
Starting with v0.75, MP is using Qt v5. Perhaps that't the problem. However, only Pierre (the developer of XnView) can tell for sure.
