When creating a new folder the curser jumps to the end of the default folder name instead of selecting the complete folder name.
Windows Explorer works as follows:
1. I click on new Folder
2. New Folder appears in Windows Explorer
3. The default name for new Folder (new folder) gets highlighted
In XnViewMP it works as follows
1. I click on new Folder
2. New Folder appears in Windows Explorer
3. For a frction of a second the default name for new Folder (new folder) gets highlighted
4. But then curser jumps to end of the name un-hilighten the name
This is not handy as it means that I have to delete the folder name letter by letter instead of typing the new name right away.

Agreed. The whole text "New Folder X" should be automatically selected after folder creation so it can be quickly renamed.
The current behavior in XnViewMP is inconsistent with most file browsers, including Windows Explorer.
Note the behavior in XnViewMP is correct when selecting a Folder and pressing F2 to rename - in this case the entire text is properly selected.
