a lot of images: name.jpeg, name.tif, name.raf. ; the same image for all three formats . It's simple.

tool/rename per lot /

the increment is problematic.
The numbering starts at 02 , etc. (name-02.jpeg) ( name-01.jpeg does not exist but rest "name.jpeg")

Why ?

Acorrection is possible ( feasible) ?

Yes, I saw that too when I first looked, a possible non-ideal behaviour or semi-bug, but if you change the settings and then if necessary return to the setting you need, it seems to be possible to obtain the result you need:

No this is an "error" code .

1/ For a type naming (modèle de nom) "namepicture"
- All incrementation are beginning to 02.
- All others 02, 03, etc. do not work.
- Xnview recognizes the extensions of the files . I have an incrementation by extensions files ( it's very well) : jpeg, raf, tiff, etc (too bad that it starts to 02 only.)

2/ For a nomming name ( modéle de nom) "namepicture-##" . Xnview does not recognize the files extension ( very regretfull) but the incrementation starts at 01 and following.

A half victory or a half defeat ?

To avoid fatal errors, i'll use the model name without -##. and make the corrections , by hand, for the incrementation number 01

And in your new thread renommer par lot you are using XnView MP?
