Zoom on mouse doesn't zoom;though it has been set 2do so

If my settings are correct than my mouse should zoom when i scroll it and yet it doesn't do that, it changes page (1 next photo) instead. How can I change this pls?

(is there a way of changing a zoom to something specific, like for ex. adobe where u can zoom in to a given percentage: 45%, 56%, 128% etc.?)

You can obtain custom zoom settings using the options available here:

Although XnView software doesn't provide the direct control of viewing percentage available in some software, it is possible obtain custom settings using the above settings in combination with the menu View > Auto image size options.
