open with - resorts to 'preview'

Hi,

I am on a mac, and I configured two programs for 'open with' - however, when clicked instead of opening the designated program, they both resort to opening the image in 'preview'.

Not sure if there is something that I should change that would correct this.

when you use 'open with', the external app are not launched?

Correct, the programs I associated do not launch. The mac 'preview' program is launched instead in each case.

which app do you use? I've tried with firefox app

not sure what you mean. I am on a Mac book pro - so I downloaded the software, not using it as an app in a browser.
