Screenshot highlighter

Hi,
I need to perform screenshot highlighting - nothing special: colored rectangles, lines, arrows, blur out a section, simple text.
Yes I did read the list of missing feature (xnview paint addon is missing), I also browsed the free photoshop plugin list. Those also are mainly filter type plugins.

Is there any other option for simple editing without leaving MP and passing though a paint program? I suppose not, I just wanted a confirmation (avoid a possible novice error on my side).

Welcome to the forum, Heiko.

As of now, there are no drawing tools available, and adding text is currently only possible through batch conversion.

PS: You have Spotlight... and Filter... in the Image menu.

Thank you for the answer and the welcome. Actually I'm an old user, just usually a read-only one: my password didn't work anymore, the account was still associated with a dead email address. No harm, I just posted a couple of questions around 2006
