How to run in winxp?

Just install it via the EXE installer and then Start -> Programs -> XnView -> XnView.
Nothing special is required for WinXP.

XnView and NConvert are freeware.

Start -> Run -> CMD.exe -> cd program files\xnview -> nconvert -help | more

You need to add XP to this:
