Unable to search on specific groups of "Categories."

Hello, I am new to XnView MP, having only just installed it this morning; I have approximately 50k images on my HD's that I need to catalog and be able to accurately search on.

Okay, before I start I'm assuming that in XnView "Categories" = "Keywords," is that correct?

First of all I tagged a number of images with various combinations of the Categories, "Guitar," "Keyboards," "Jazz," "Blues," and "Metal."

Then I did a search for the Categories of "Guitar" and "Blues."

I expected the software to return ONLY the images tagged with "Guitar" AND "Blues," but instead it returned every single image tagged with EITHER "Guitar" OR "Blues," which is obviously not what I wanted.

An I doing something wrong here, or is the software unable to search as I need it to?

Hello:

Did you see the:

-Match any
-Match all

I think you need.. -match all


Also don't forget the filter panel..
