Re: How to add an external editor to XnViewMP?
no, I wanted SnagItEditor.exe as external editor.xnview wrote:you means the Paint plugin??
Regretfully there is no portable version of it, btw.
it offers a -lot- of features with regards to lines, arrows, text boxes, stamps, blurring, color corrections, resizing, rotations (custom) and so on, and so on.
Above all .. it allows combining partial screenshots to be combined without flattening them immediately (like Faststone).
I did some checking, AFAIK there are nó other viewers that are combining viewing with 'advanced editing', like SnagItEditor.
For arrows, text boxes, etc. there is no need to launch a full-fledged Photoshop and .. having to wait for it.
So, there is gap between simple Paint and 'rather professional stuff', like Photoshop, ACDSee.
Anyway, as per the other thread, the matter is solved using a registry patch.
Wish XnView allowed to edit the toolbar, so a button could be added there, a button that links to an external editor.

p.s. I would have added a thread in MP Suggestions if the idea would at least have a chance.
