0.83: Drop-down lists close right after opening

There seems to be a general problem with drop-down lists in XnView MP.

When clicking on a drop-down list and releasing the mouse button right away, the drop-down list opens and remains opened (which is the expected behaviour).

When clicking on a drop-down list and keeping the mouse-button pressed, the drop-down list opens and remains opened. When releasing the mouse button the drop-down list closes, again.

For reproducing you can use any drop-down listbox, e.g. "Tools > Settings > General > General > Save Session on program exit"

I guess Qt causes this problem; it would be interesting to know whether other people also experience this problem and whether this also happens in Windows 10.

Hello:

I tried this and for me it happens only when you are hovering over a direct action during release. I'm on Win 7 Pro.

I know many programs read "Click' as. (A press and release) and the action only happens during release.

Maybe this is the cause, or maybe you have something different going on.

I've tried again and the problem was in front of the computer:

Closing the dropdownlist when releasing the mouse button is standard behaviour on Windows and is for convenience (I guess): This way you can click to open the drop down list, choose an item, and release the mouse button to select the chosen item.
