CTRL+W closes the program!!

Post by ricohflex »

Some how I can close the current image and only the current image, without closing the program.
I only allow 1 instance of the program.
This can be chosen in the settings.
Then when I open many images, they appear as different tabs in the software window.
Instead of several different windows (if I had not chosen the allow only 1 instance of the program).
Then I can close each image individually.
The rest of the opened images remain.
The trick is to place your mouse cursor within the image and click once.
Or click at the tab of the image you want to close.
Then press Esc key.
That image will close.
The rest of the images remain open.
You can also simply click on the small [X] at the right o the tab of any relevant image and it will close.
FYI, Ctrl -W will also close only the specific image that you are viewing --- if many images are open.
If only 1 image is open, then Ctrl-W will close the sole image and the program.
But Ctrl-Q will always close the program --- even if many images are open.
I am using XNview Multi Platform Version 0.72 portable.
