Add "Refresh" to the context menu
It seems that the folder list on the left hand window doesn't always refresh automatically. When I insert an SD card with XnViewMP already open, or create a directory in the browser window, it won't necessarily refresh the folder list. It would be really nice to have a "refresh" option in the right click context menu on the folder list.

No I guess I never tried that. Now I feel dumb...
I'll give that a shot and report back if it doesn't work. Thanks!

Re: Add "Refresh" to the context menu
Well, I just tried F5. No dice.
I had XnView MP open, and then I plugged in a external hard drive. XnView MP didn't see the hard drive, and I couldn't refresh the list. Had to close XnView MP and reopen it. Once I did that, the hard drive showed up.

Re: Add "Refresh" to the context menu
Hello Pierre,
I support this request.
Not only in case of plugging in an USB stick a "refresh" is necessary,
also in case of creating a subdirectory of an existing directory a re-ordering is not done automatically.
So I suggest that F5 will also do the re-ordering of all directories.
Best regards
Herb

Re: Add "Refresh" to the context menu
Yes, I also have had this problem when plugging in a thumb drive, and have to shut the program down and restart it to get it to recognize the new drive.
I also have to restart the program to remove the drive from the list as well.
This is not a HORRIBLE task, just a bothersome one.
I 'tested' XnView MP when it was first introduced years ago, and it was very 'buggy' and I needed to do a lot of work right then, so I gave up on it.
This morning, I was going through my busiest programs, checking for updates/upgrades, and decided to give it another try, so I downloaded and installed it and configured it to my liking, and it is running very well, thank you.
Now I'm looking in the forum to see what others are finding, as well.
Thank you for a TERRIFIC program!
