0.81: Delete cache deletes category assignment?

I cannot believe this bevavior is intentional: Deleting a cached folder from the catalog management with the intention to have its thumbnails re-created, results in having the files in that folder lose their categorys assingment as well. To me this was quite unexpected.

it's fixed in next 0.84

This problem is supposed to be fixed in v0.84. Could you please check and confirm, jadO?
