0.83: After install reverting back to v0.72...huh?

Strange thing.
I was running XnViewMP v0.82 - it reported an updated was available.
Downloaded and installed it.
Launched the -existing- desktop icon.
XnViewMP reported an updated was available. Checked Help: v0.72 ... huh..?
Deleted desktop icon, re-installed, now it showed v0.83.
still funny..

I was running v.0.82 installed v.0.83 and now get v.0.72

there is also a kind of 'reset': when I boot the pc and double click a .jpg then XnViewMP shows up in a very small windown (1 x 1 inch or so) telling me about v.0.72 bla bla
I need to resize it then.
Exit
relaunch, the the resized size will display (with warning).

I will uninstall it entirely, see what happens.

later: I think it is okay now... after uninstalling entirely (using Revo Uninstaller)
(registry entries also removed and folders here and there)
and re-installing.

it seems that you had a previous 0.72 version somewhere

It looks like various installation files have been mixed up.
