Relative paths in xnview.ini

Is there a way to use relative paths in xnview.ini for 'otherFolder=' and 'dbFolder=' as well as 'OpenWith='

That's again a bad decision for a portable app. Assume I have XnViewMP on an external drive and plug it into a computer. I have no Idea what drive letter it will get assigned.

It is absolutely mandatory to have relative paths so that I can keep accessing my database files regardless of drive letter assignment.

At least relative paths within the XnViewMP app directory should be made possible.

you can use App path in this case

Right, but then I cannot put the user related files like database etc. into a seperate folder within the app directory.

So if "relative" path already exist with that "Program" option. It would be great to be able to specify a custom folder within app dir for organising user files.
