JPEG+RAW Mono

Post by Alan B »

If I shoot in mono, the JPEG will be displayed in mono and the associated RAW will be displayed in colour in XnView.

This does not happen in XnViewMP - both are mono. Is there a setting in MP to correctly display the RAW file?

Thanks. That works.

But I found the 'Camera Raw' under Settings/View, not as you suggested.

What is the difference between 'Half size' and 'Full size' in Camera RAW (except Full size takes longer to load)?

You posted your XnView MP support question in the XnView Classic section of the forum...

For reference, in 'MP the setting is: Tools > Settings... > View > View tab -- Camera RAW...

As RAW files from modern cameras can have very large pixel dimensions, I image the option is provided to speed up loading and editing.

If that isn't right or the whole story, someone please correct me...
