Win98: XnView and Videos crash

Win98: XnView and Videos crash

I was playing with my sister's Win98 computer and found this crash when reading a folder with videos in it (Scan Headers: All) The crash occured after reading the thumbnails for the 3 MOV's and then while reading a AVI file for the thumbnail it crashes:

XNVIEW caused an invalid page fault in
module AVIFIL32.DLL at 0167:7f67722d.

Works here with Win98SE.
Viewing videos with XnView 1.8RC - 1.8 always crashed XnView very easily on my system and in older versions XnView wasn't very stable either, but 1.80.1 seems to be first XnView where videos really works. Thanks to Pierre.

I can now confirm there is no longer a crash with XnView 1.80.1 with Win98SE. This thread is CLOSED.
