Hi,
I have installed xnview 2.39 (Nov 8 2016).
I want to search for tags that are part of the file metadata (like "vacation & spain & louise").
My images are on a private Network drive, so: wifi distance.
I have tons of photos there, so naturally search takes long (hours).
But if I search something else next, it will probably take hours again.
Is there a possibility to load all file Information in a Network subfolder (maybe overnight) to be faster when searching?
Thanks
Bapon

Re: Performance issue on network when searching for tags

Re: Performance issue on network when searching for tags
Great thanks.
This sounds like the solution.
Is there a disadvantage to use xnviewMP instead of xnview?
(Windows btw)
Thanks
