0.84 Mint: New version won't open in Mint 17.3

I was using version .83 successfully on Mint Kde 17.3 for a while and XP offer a new version today, .84. After installation, the program won't open anymore. Reinstalling .83 works again. I confirm the problem in a virtualbox machine running the same Kde version. The error report in a terminal is ;

/opt/XnView/XnView: error while loading shared libraries: libwebp.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Can you please verify ? Thanks !

Resolved same problem by specifically removing existing XnView, then (re)loading new version.
