Wrong Thumbnails for Movies

Post by viking »

I have checked Video|Show Thumbnails
However, for some reason most of my Movie Thumbnails are incorrect (they are from another movie).
When I view the movies as Thumbnails in my File Browser, they are correct.

Can I somehow re-scan individual movie files/Thumbnails to see if that helps?

Please select the thumbnail of the video(s) in question and go to View » Rebuild thumbnails.

Thanks, that solved it. Although lots of work as the thumbnails are scattered in multiple different directories.
Is it possible to find all movie files and then rebuild the thumbnails on the search results?

BTW, I wonder how almost all the thumbnails are incorrect? Maybe it will happen again...?

  1. Go to View » Search....
  2. Depending on the format, type *.AVI or *.MOV into the field for Filename.
  3. Select the drive or folder where your videos are stored in the drop-down.
  4. Hit the Search button and wait for the search to complete.
  5. Press the View... button to view the results in the browser.

I'll move this topic from “General Support” to the “Bug Reports” section of the forum.
