I often select one ot the tabs in the Info window ("GPS", "EXIF", "XMP", etc.) in order view this information when I browse my JPGs. When I select an image or video that does not support GPS, EXIF, etc. then the "Properties" tab becomes the active tab. So far so good.
But when I select a JPG again, the active tab does not jump back to the tab that was active when the last JPG was selected, but remains on "Properties".
So I can use the cursor keys to browse my images comfortably but have to use the mouse to manually change the active tab every now and then, especially when there are many different media formats in one folder.
IMHO it would be an improvement if xnview would "remember" the active tab per file type and restore it again when selected.

It is very annoying to click each time to re-select the EXIF tab. Also I would save the active tab between the sessions also. (IOW in the layout).
For ex. Pierre would keep the active tab index in a variable and when this tab isn't visible, display the 1st tab, but do not change the variable's value. This value should change only when the user chooses to change (IOW in OnClick event handler).

Well, yes. It isn't saved between the sessions (this would be perfect) but if it is hard to do it we prefer to have your focus on something else.xnview wrote:is it good in lastest version?m.Th. wrote: It is very annoying to click each time to re-select the EXIF tab.
