0.84: Search: "Abort" and "Cancel" buttons do the same thing

Post by CameronD »

XnView MP v: 0.84 64-bit
OS: Windows 7 Pro, x64

Description:
When searching, the Abort and Cancel buttons seem to have the same function.

To Reproduce:
  • Find a folder with a significant number of subfolders and files (we need a long search to demonstrate the issue)
  • select folder and choose menu Tools->search
  • Set up:
    • filename: blank
    • Regexp: off
    • Match "Any" (or "All" - Does not matter with single condition)
    • case sensitive: on
    • Use catalog: off (using "on" reveals a different bug)
    • Recurse: on
    • Add a single condition, such as XMP:Description is: "xyz" . Just give something that fails to match anything
  • Press "Search"

Expected behaviour:
If the buttons have different functions then make it clear what they are.
Otherwise remove one of them.
