jpeg2000 decoding problem ?

I found something that appears to be a bug while trying to convert a .jp2 file to .tif

- I am currently using XNVIEW 2.39 for Windows
- The file is a "near black" image whith values randomly spread arround a mean value of 32 LSB (in 16 bits word)

-> The image that I got after the conversion is "all black" with all values stuck to 2 LSB (in 16 bits)

Have you ever seen this ?
... Or do I use it "abnormaly" ?
