Whenever I convert one of my current images(without resizing) from PSD to PNG it changes the image so that when I open it in another program it thinks the image is set to centimeters instead of inches.
I've tested this with the batch conversion and the simple "save as". I've opened the original image in Fireworks and it says the image is in inches. I save the image as PNG and then open the new image in Fireworks and it says it is in centimeters.
I've tried saving PSD's as GIF and JPG and it retains the inches units. Whenever I save as PNG though it changes to centimeters.

Here's a sample set of images. I created a PSD with units set to inches and converted it to PNG with XnView v1.80.1 and now its units are set to Centimeters.
