Im running XnVIEW 1.80.1 since a few days on a windows 2000 (SP3) system with 768 MB RAM. It looks good with one exception.
When trying to browse a directory containing about 40 Fuji-RAW-Data-Files (about 12 MB each) and the same number of TIF-Files (each ca. 32 MB), the total file information will be read very slowly (order of minutes) and Xnview may crash without a notice, especially when other applications are running. I was able to reproduce this crash, which leaves win2000 unaffected. During loading the files mentioned, I watched the CPU usage on the task manager going up to 100 % and the memory consumption reaching its upper limit. Maybe this trouble results from incorrect interpretation of the Fuji raw data format.
The failure can be avoided by using Xnview 1.7x, which works much faster and never crashed.

Xnview with Fuji RAW Files
Could You give me Your postal adress, please? I would prefer to send the whole directory on CD to You by ordinary mail for I think I'm not able to send more than 10 MB of data per e-Mail.
