List Across Folders

Hi XnView Peeps: Just got XnView and I really like what I have seen so far. I THINK I can do this with XnView but I need help figuring out how.

I have pictures in folders by date. I want to star/catalog/mark/tag a subset of the pictures across several folders. I then want to take all of these tagged photos and export lower resolution copies for digital picture frames. All the grandparents have frames. I used to use Picassa and it did this really well but I cannot figure out how to do it in XnView.

How is this done?

I have tried using the stars but the filter does not appear to work across folders. Same for Category if I am using it right. Help...

I figured out how to do this so I am posting a reply in case anyone else has the same question.

1. Setup your pictures with star ratings or a tag.
2. Perform a search for the pictures that you want to export.
3. At the end of the search hit the browse button.
4. Select all of the photos then his Batch Convert.
5. Examine all of the tabs to setup your convert.
6. Done! Works great and super speedy too!
