"Open all selected" doesn't work

Post by Damian »

I cannot open files by selecting them and choose "open all selected" in the context menu. I am using version 1.80.1. Am I doing something wrong?

:) Hello!
- If you mean : from a board of thumb-nails, that works like a charm here from the local menu.
- The first image is displayed in "View", you must choose : Window Menu >> Tile ( >>Tile H or V) or "Cascade" to watch all selected pics on the same screen…

 Kind regards,
Claude

No, that doesn't work with me. Using Open all selected in the right click menu doesn't do anything, I can only use Open to open the item selected first. Using Tile in the Window menu only opens the already opened items in windows.

I reinstalled XnView with a new downloaded setup file, but it still doesn't work. Should I delete the first installation before reinstalling? I'd rather not, I have customized a lot, but if you don't experience any problem with this, it might solve the problem.

Which system do you have? Could you send me your .ini file?

OK... Is there something I can do about that? Or is it something you can fix?

I'll do so next week, when I can also use my other PC, which has the same problem. I'll send both ini-files.

Thank you much for your assistance!

Just unchecking "Use Shell To Open" did the job.

Great Pierre, thanks!
