No folders, no favorites, no categories

I am new user of XnViewMP ( iMAC, macOS Sierra 10.12.6), I have installed version OSX DMG and at the beginning everything seems to be ok. Now I have mainly problems:
- no FOLDERS
-no Favorites
-no CATEGORIES

There is a problem with my mouse also- it is impossible to check precisely for example 5 photos, it scroll so quickly !!
Where is my mistake ? What should I do ?
Is the version DMG correct What is the difference with TGZ version of your software ?

Finally I have decided to put XnView MP to trash, because it does not work properly on my coomp.

I decided to use Adobe Bridge- seems to be better, quicker, more user friendly.
