Hello everyone,
every once in a while I try to replace the old and trusty ACDSee 2.41 with a more modern viewer, and routinely most programs fall short of what I'd like...XnView MP seems to fit the bill although I haven't found a way to move the file list in a vertical position to quickly browse through the files with the arrow keys and at a glance know how far I'm in a sequence of images. I can partially solve the problem by switching the list to detail...
...but I still miss the vertical layout as in ACDSee.
Is there a way to get the same layout as with ACDSee?
Also, is there a limit on how many instances of XnView MP I can run at the same time? Often I open 15 different locations and swap through them, more recent versions of ACDSee (demo) would crash after the 4th instance open.
Thanks.
Vertical filelist & number of program instances at the same time

Re: Vertical filelist & number of program instances at the same time
Found the vertical layout, I just had to dig into the menus a bit more...the question on a lot of instances still stands though.
[edit] Just to clarify, i've tried to open 10 instances and there was no problem, but it was just a test and not in a "real" environment, so I wanted to know if someone already tried that and what his/her impressions are.
