0.88: Renaming with variables generates spaces

OS: Windows 8.1 / macOS Sierra / 64bit

Hi,
during (batch) renaming, spaces are created by certain variables.

Rename-Spaces-.jpg

This can be avoided if you replace a space with nothing.

Rename-Replace-Spaces-.jpg

Or is it wanted like that?

Other image viewers just cut the spaces, but I do not know what's right.
