The normalize action is doing something weird with the image, that isn't normalization at all. The contrast gets even worse than it was.
I attached 3 files here to demonstrate the problem:
ALESTE2A_sourcetst.png: Source test image
ALESTE2A_normalizedCorrectly.png: How GIMP normalizes the image
ALESTE2A_normalizeError.png: How XnConvert is normalizing the image
Tested with XnConvert 1.75 on Mac OS-X.

Even I have the same issue. Even the normalize window wouldn't appear. I just switched from classic to MP just because I need to deal with RAW files. Guess I'll have to have 2 separate installations. Thought this bug was fixed because this thread is 7 years old.
