Xnview formats list djvu files as compatable with the program,but when I try to open one,it says the format cannot be determined.

For DJVu support, you need the plug-in "xdjvu.dll". Do you have the appropriate plug-In installed? You can check the plug-ins in XnView, menu "Info->Plug-In Information", there you should find an entry "Xdjvu.dll - DjVu format (read)".

If the entry is missing, check the installation of your plug-Ins or download them on the XnView Download page (Windows).
