DNG not working properly

Hi guys,

I tried organizing my photos with XnView for a few days now, so far no problem with JPG, ARW, etc. But today I wanted to load a DNG file from my new camera Yi M1. The photo is showing up but the preview is really bad. Also when I try to export the file as JPG it results in a very low resolution image. I tried playing around a lot with the settings, every time with reloading the thumbnails, but without any luck. The DNG itself is quite fine, I can load it in Lightroom with no problem.
Did I miss something? Is it maybe the Camera, messing something up with the DNG file? Is there something I can do to make it work?

In the viewer, please check if setting File > Format settings... > Read > Camera RAW > Use -- Full size overcomes the problem...

Thanks for the advice, I already tried that earlier, but as with every setting I played with it didn't work.

Edit:
I wanted to add that I am running the latest version on a MacBook (which is also running the latest OS).

The file you uploaded has 48bit colour, which I thought was not supported yet in XnView software, however with Full size selected it opens with that bit depth shown and with seemingly reasonable quality, although it looks as if there may possibly be a problem with the colour profile, at least on my computer.

Converted to 24bit colour, it also saves as a JPEG, attached.

Beyond that, perhaps someone more knowledgeable can comment...

Note:

Tested with XnView MP 0.89 on Linux Ubuntu, if that might be relevant.

Thanks for looking into it! I will look at it again with Full Size selected, though I thought I already tried that. Maybe I'll also try again with my Windows PC, perhaps I get a different experience there.

When I try to set the read mode to Full Size and save the settings, every time I open the settings again it's back to "use thumbnail" (is this the proper English translation? I use the German version). It just won't save the Full Size reading. Maybe this is a bug?
