0.90: Can't Ctrl-C paste into Gmail message

Using Ctrl-C, I can't Ctrl-V paste an image into a new Gmail message, like I could in XnView Classic.

Ctrl-Shift-C, Ctrl-V works, which may be by design but seems clumsier than the standard Ctrl-C.

Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V works for pasting into MsPaint, curiously.
