Hey,
Been playing around with XnView for OSX and find it excellent. One thing I was wondering was if you can use it to open an image in an editor. I've been using the latest gimp 2.0 on the mac and this is the only thumbnailer that can read that image format (.xcf). This way I can browse to a file and open it in the gimp (or some other editor). If this is not possible I would humbly submit it as a very desired feature request!
Thanks and keep up the great work!

Re: Open image in graphic editor
Not quite sure what the difference of the Windows versions and OSX are, so my suggestion might be wrong:Hangnail wrote:... One thing I was wondering was if you can use it to open an image in an editor. ...
- "Open with"
In XnView there is the "Open with..." function. You can add one or several graphic programs using the menu item "Open with...->Add Program". For each program you add there will be a menu item in the "Open with.." menu.
Then, you can select image files in the browser and open them in the desired program you want, e.g. "Open with...->Gimp".
- "Use shell context to open picture"
In the Windows version, you can associate file extensions (e.g. .jpg) with programs. If you want to use XnView for browsing only, you can check the checkbox "Use shell context to open picture" in the options, category "Browser". Now, when double clicking on an image in XnView, the associated program will be started and display the image (whichever program this is). But I suspect that file associations aren't supported on OSX - are they?
