XnView Classic is way faster and more responsive than XnViewMP due to QT5.
I'll always prefer Classic even Ashampoo Photo Commander is faster than XnViewMP

Out of interest, if you are using Linux, have you tried with Wine, or on a Mac using CrossOver?

TBH I'm not looking for other aplication, MP works fine on my mac so I don't need to just asked out of curiosity

it depends on what is "very slow" for whom maybe it's not super fast but it's ok for me. maybe because I'm using it just few times per day

On Mac/Linux, there is no such problem. And using Wine is not good, better is to use native app
