When I double-left-click a .gif, .jpg, .png, etc. in Windows Explorer (for example, from the desktop) XnView opens properly and displays the image.
However, if I double-left-click a .jpeg file (even a jpg that's been renamed to .jpeg), the browser opens. Can someone help me figure out what is wrong, and fix it? I'd like to be able to open jpeg files without having to rename them first.
Thanks.

Windows reports that XnView is set for .jpeg files:

Right-click "Open with..." and choosing XnView yields the same browser view:

I'm running version 2.13 on Windows 10.

Please check your registry entries for .jpg & .jpeg

It has been fixed by downloading a newer version. I didn't think my old version was that out of date, but oh well.
