I can confirm this.
XnView Tweak UI - Tool to customize your XnView beyond the regular XnView options.
UI-less Settings - Documentation of all the hidden settings in XnView.
XFAM - Tool to create and customize XnView file associations.

I have not this problem, you start the browser, open a picture, Pgup, return or esp, and the selection is not the good one?marsh wrote:'Synchronize browser selection with current view' not working with v.1.80.2RC.

Pierre.
I think that I could reproduce the problem:
Options:
a.) View > Maximize View when Open: Deactivated
b.) Browser > Sychronize Browser selection with current View: Active
c.) Associations: Associate a file type (e.g. JPG) with XnView
1. In MS Explorer, double-click on an image file. XnView will open
2. Use "Next image" several times (1-n)
3. Open Browser by clicking on the toolbar button or menu "File>Browse"
Browser will open with correct image selected
4. Select folder tab with image
5. Again, use "Next image" one or several times
6. Switch to folder tab "Browser"
--> Currently viewed image isl not selected in browser.
Not sure whether this is marsh's problem, but this is a bug.

Re: Synchronize browser selection broken in v.1.80.2RC
Helmut's example is right. 'Synchronize browser selection with current view' only works using browser's fullscreen. When browser and viewer are same in v.1.81, this may not be a problem.xnview wrote:I have not this problem, you start the browser, open a picture, Pgup, return or esp, and the selection is not the good one?marsh wrote:'Synchronize browser selection with current view' not working with v.1.80.2RC.

1. Browser > Fullscreen > Viewer
2. Advance many files with <pg dn>.
3. pressing <Enter> twice to return to browser again.
4. *The latest file is not highlighted, the starting file is.
-It works normally using browser's fullscreen only.
Ok, i'ts not a bug and it's the same in 1.80.1, i synchronise browser only when you dbl click or press enter/escape.helmut wrote:I think that I could reproduce the problem:

If you have a lot of picture opened from different folder, so when you click on tab browser, you'll have some folder changing in browser, not really good.
