XnViewMP 0.93.1 - Rebuild thumbnail function scan *.rar files

Today I want to rebuild my whole thumbnail database with the function in settings menu.
I pressed the rebuild button and XnViewMP scanned my directories.

The XnViewMP thumbnail rebuilder scanned a *.rar file with 700 MB and it took much time!!!
Why XnViewMP scans a compressed file, if it will not show the content ?
It is not useful and cost much time. :?
PC: Intel 8700k + Asus Z370-F + 48 GB RAM Corsair+G.Skill + Asus RTX 3050 OC
OS: Windows 11 Pro 64bit 25H2 |
GFX: XnViewMP 1.11.5 | Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 + Elements XXL 11

i can't reproduce, could you send me a .rar file?

I delete the whole thumbnail database and rebuild it again.
I could not reproduce the problem. Maybe something else stopped the scanning process.
