Unable to use Category sets

Hi.
How do i set several categories as a "set" and then apply that set to an image or selection of images? I've tried to right click and add selected categories to set, but nothing happens.
I'm finding the xnview GUI a bit unintuitive to use and i can't figure this one out.

Any help appreciated, so i can speed up my categorisation of my photos

Hi,
I never used category sets ...
Your question is only about sets ? all other features are ok ?
Do you use only jpegs ? embedded keywords ? xmp sidecar files ?

And before managing categories, you must select at least one picture ...

Well ... how does one USE category sets?

First try...
1)click "Manager, add set" ... and choose a name "my set 1"
2)enter an existing category in "Category search". Add another category at the same place
3)Now, in "my set 1" , you have two buttons that can add (or remove) these categories to selected photos

If you have hundreds of categories, the most often used ones are accessible in one click here...
