Search Similar Files

After some time off, I am back using XnviewMP (0.93.1) and working with this feature, but have a couple of question and a suggestion
Suggestion: when the results of the search are displayed, it would be very helpful to myself, if the details of the search, i.e. by file name, by file data etc were displayed in the dialog title bar or anywhere else convenient.
Often enough I get interrupted part way through a search while analyzing the results and then have to backtrack to find out what the criteria for the search results were.

Question 1: is there a list of what 'Same file data' includes?
Files size, creation or modification date? All Metadata?, Exif,? ....
Would these criteria be the same for plain Xnview?

Question 2: what are the specific criteria for 'Similar picture content'?
What sort of algorithm, what image size?
Full size, thumbnail (what size)?

based on file's content, perhaps 'file's content' is better than 'file's data'?

is based on libpuzzle, with a thumbnail of 64x64

My apologies for the late reply, but the reference to libpuzzle could not have come at a better time - my current problems relate exactly to this issue.
I will most certainly give it a try.
