How to display the 'Automatic Levels'?

Post by mrwul »

Is there a way to show the Automatic Levels settings?
(Under Image > Map)

Wish they were displayed somewhere. Most of the times the automatic levels are quite reasonable, but probably the contrast is a bit too high, or too much black, I don't know. What is in shadow becomes a little too dark, i.e. details are gone.

Regretfully the automatic levels are not displayed after applying them and then go to Image > Adjust > Enhance colors.
After Automatic Levels and then switching to Image > Adjust > Enhance colors, all settings there are '0'

Thanks.

Please take some test photo.
Load it into XnViewMP, then apply automatic levels.
Okay.
Now, after you have done that, could you then view/establish the levels of what has been changed?
meaning: the levels of brightness, contrast, red, green, blue, etc.

Perhaps adding a button 'automatic levels' in 'Enhance colors' dialog?
Pierre.
